CCPJ underwrote BELLSYSTEM24’s 104.2 billion yen third-party allotment in August 2004 and gained a 71.7% shareholding by almost simultaneously purchasing the shares held by the then-leading shareholder, CSK Group. Through a take-over bid in October 2004 and a share exchange under the Law on Special Measures for Industrial Revitalization in January 2005, CCPJ came to wholly own BELLSYSTEM24 and took it private. Further, seeking an optimal capital structure,CCPJ restructured BELLSYSTEM24's capital structure through divestures of non-core assets, securitization of leasing assets, and introduction of syndicated bank loans |

Using funds from CCPJ through a third-party allotment, BELLSYSTEM24 acquired BB Call, which has the exclusive rights to provide both Softbank BB and Japan Telecom with telemarketing and call center services, a strategy expected to double consolidated revenues and profits. |
